National Night Out, Movie in the Park are Aug. 3

The Fountain Valley Police Department will present its annual National Night Out event Aug. 3, in conjunction with the city's Movie in the Park.

National Night Out starts at 6 p.m. at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and will feature various police exhibits and programs, including SWAT, K9, crime prevention and Police Explorers.

The Fountain Valley Fire Department, Orange Coast Medical Center and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital will have booths.

The evening will include game booths, food and prizes. Following the event, the city’s Movies in the Park program will feature “Trolls World Tour.”
