Cash Mob to support Naugles, Orange Coast Beauty Supply on June 12

Fountain Valley Cash Mob has designated this Friday, June 12, as the date to rally customers to patronize two small businesses in Fountain Valley: Orange Coast Beauty Supply and Naugles Tacos & Burgers.
According to facilitator Lynn Seeden, a cash mob is "an event in which a large group of people descends on a single independent store in a coordinated shopping trip to give the local economy a little boost. Everyone brings $20 in cash with them to spend at the chosen shop. If 50 people show up to 'mob' the store for some great shopping, then the small-business owner benefits, the economy benefits, and the Cash Mob attendees feel good about helping their town!"
During a normal cash mob, patrons gather in a large group, $20 bill in hand, and "mob" a small business all at once to show financial support and community spirit to a locally owned establishment. Due to social distancing guidelines, current cash mobs allow for participants to visit anytime during the business' regular hours, spend at least $20, and post a selfie with your $20 bill in front of each targeted business. Make sure to tag your selfie with #fvcashmob.
Orange Coast Beauty Supply at 10525 Ellis at Ward Street is open 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m. For more information, visit orangecoastbeauty.net.
