Rotary Club Bowl a Strike for Students tourney is April 27

The Fountain Valley Rotary Club will host its third annual “Bowl a Strike for Students” bowling tournament on Saturday, April 27 at Fountain Bowl.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Fountain Valley School District and its literacy program, and Fountain Valley, Los Amigos and Valley Vista high schools. The tournament also benefits the Rotary Club’s annual Every Student Succeeding program and annual Teachers Recognition Breakfast.

Additionally, the tournament will benefit Robyne’s Nest, a local charity for homeless students, and the Rotary Club-sponsored Interact Club at Fountain Valley High.

Various sponsorships are available, ranging from the $5,000 Title Sponsorship to the $400 Bronze Scholarship. A two-week electronic banner ad seen on video screens on all 60 lanes is available for $100.

Cost to bowl is $75 per person or $300 for a team of four.

The evening includes a taco bar and silent auction.

For more information on sponsorship availability and registration, call Marla McGee, fundraising chair, at (714) 394-5856 or email marlam@socal.rr.com.
