Deadline extended for HCDA board openings

The city has extended the deadline and is receiving applications from volunteers to sit on the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board. Applications are available in the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 10200 Slater Ave. or online at www.fountainvalley.org under the Housing and Community Development Advisory Board page. Appointments will be for two-year terms, unless otherwise stated. Candidates for appointment must be residents of Fountain Valley and 18 years of age or older. The deadline for application submission to the city clerk is 4 p.m. March 8. The Housing and Community Development Advisory Board reviews the city’s Federal Block Grant Program and recommends housing/community development activities to the City Council. The board meets at 6 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month in the City Council chambers.
