City’s annual Tree Lighting Dec. 1

The city kicks off the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 1 with the annual Tree Lighting at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park, 16400 Brookhurst St.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the event, which is set for 4:30-8 p.m.

The Tree Lighting will feature guests from the North Pole as well as performances by various community groups, lots of food available for purchase from local non-profit organizations, games, a fireworks show and more.

There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos so bring your own camera.
