Car crashes into building, hurting 3

Three people suffered injuries Thursday when a black Mercedes S500 crashed into a building on Harbor Boulevard, Fountain Valley Police reported.

Sgt. Kham Vang said the Mercedes crashed through a building at 16520 Harbor Blvd., Suite G, at 12:56 p.m., striking one person inside the building and pinning two others.

Fountain Valley Fire Department personnel extricated all three people and transported them to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 71-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said the driver was not injured. A preliminary investigation suggested alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor in the collision.
