Registration underway for Fit Body Boot Camp 5K Fun Run/Walk

It’s time to dust off those capes and find those masks.

The Fountain Valley Fit Body Boot Camp 5K Fun Run/Walk is coming up on Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Fountain Valley Sports Park.

Once again, the event has a super hero theme, so costumes are highly encouraged.

You can register for the 5K online at fvcommunityfoundation.org. Preregister by 4 p.m. Jan. 27 and the cost is $22 for those 13 and older and $17 for kids 12 and under. After Jan. 27, cost is $30 for those 13 and older and $20 for kids 12 and under.

Online registration ends on Feb. 2. Walkups are welcome the day of the event but you won’t get a T-shirt.

And remember, your registration fee can go toward the charity of your choice.

By the way, pets are always welcome. The Sports Park is at 16400 Brookhurst St.
