Best-selling author to discuss Alzheimer’s Sept. 18
New York Times best-selling author Dr. Gary Small will discuss “Strategies for Successful Aging” on Monday, Sept. 18 at the Center at Founders Village Senior and Community Center.
Dr. Small’s talk, which focuses on the question, “Is Preventing Alzheimer’s Possible?” is set for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 9 a.m.
Dr. Small is a professor of psychiatry and aging at UCLA and author of “The Memory Bible.” He will share his research findings of early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and age-related cognitive decline.
Cost is $35 per person, which includes breakfast.
