Holy Spirit Church Lenten Dinners begin tonight

The Knights of Columbus at Holy Spirit Catholic Church will serve up their Friday night Lenten Dinners beginning tonight from 5-7 p.m. at the church, 17270 Ward St.

The dinners are held every Friday night during Lent, March 3 to April 7.

The dinners will feature traditional fish and clam chowder, but new this year is a celebration of many cultural heritages. So tonight, and next Friday, the menu will also feature Mexican fare, including fish tacos, quesadillas and refried beans.

The next two Fridays will add American fare, including macaroni and cheese, fish sticks and a baked potato bar as well as the traditional fish and chowder choices.

The final two weeks will include several Vietnamese cuisine options.

Beer and wine are available for purchase.

Cost for dinner is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under.
