Recess Room, FV Town Center earn Beautification Awards

The Recess Room and Fountain Valley Town Center were honored last month with the 2017 Business Beautification Awards.

The Recess Room, at 18380 Brookhurst St., was recognized for making substantial improvements to the exterior of the building and to landscaping during the past year.

Fountain Valley Town Center, at Edinger Avenue and Brookhurst Street, was recognized for the consistent maintenance of the property.

The Business Beautification Committee met Jan. 11 to review nominations and select winners, which were announced Feb. 28 at the Chamber of Commerce Business and Leadership Awards Luncheon.

The Beautification Award Program is designed to recognize Fountain Valley business owners whose properties reflect pride of ownership and commitment to the beautification of the city thereby contributing in a positive manner to the overall appearance of the city.
