Residents are invited to the Fire Department’s annual Open House, this year set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at Station 1, 17737 Bushard St.
This is an opportunity to tour the fire station, take a look at the fire trucks and learn about fire safety. “Don’t Wait—Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years” is this year’s fire prevention safety lesson.
There will be hot dogs and ice cream, and kids can have their face painted or have their photo taken with Captain America or Elsa the Snow Queen.
