Police investigating burglaries at two FV gun shops
Fountain Valley police are trying to determine if there is a connection between two recent burglaries at firearms stores in Fountain Valley. The two burglaries occurred within days of each other, and an unknown number of firearms were stolen during the burglaries.
The first of the two burglaries occurred at OC Firearms, in the 17100 block of Newhope Street on Saturday. Employees arriving in the morning found a broken window. The second incident was at RifleGear Fountain Valley, in the 18000 block of Mount Shay Street. In that case Fountain Valley police responded around 5 a.m. to find broken glass although it’s not clear if a burglar broke a window or door, according to police.
Investigators are trying to determine if there is a connection between the burglaries.
