FV residents save on water usage
Fountain Valley residents heard the call for a reduction in water usage and apparently took the call to heart. A report on water usage in the County showed that Fountain Valley residents had the lowest residential use per capita, which amounted to 55.2 gallons per capita per day.
By comparison, Huntington Beach residents used 79.5 gallons per capita daily. Californians averaged 87.5 gallons per capita per day for the same reporting period in May.
The report is for residential statistics for water used at home for drinking, bathing, sprinkling lawns and other such essentials, even non-essentials.
