Thousands of people are expected to make their way to The Fountain Valley Sports and Recreation Park tonight through Sunday for the annual Fountain Valley Summerfest. The four day event kicked off last night with a preview night that included $1 rides for each of the rides at the event, as well as a beer/wine/ margarita garden and music.
The gates open tonight at 5 p.m. with rides, food and entertainment including a Santana tribute, and Upsteam, as well as the Country Legends. it all takes place at the Sports and Recreation Center in Fountain Valley.
Summerfest includes more food booths from nonprofit organizations than in the past, musical entertainment that includes tributes to the Beatles, Journey and Santana, and the K9 Fest (formerly the Dog Day Afternoon.)
