The first-ever Festival of Trees, a festive afternoon of fun and food, is set for 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at the Center at Founders Village Senior & Community Center. The event will feature holiday music, food and beverages and opportunity drawings. Those attending will have an opportunity to win one of 30 decorated, themed Christmas trees on display. The 26th Annual Christmas Boutique at Holy Spirit Catholic Church is set for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5. The event is hosted by the Ladies of the Knights of Columbus. Those attending are invited to bring their children to see Santa and do their Christmas shopping at the event. The boutique will feature tamales, egg rolls, bake goods, gifts and crafted items. The Crèche, staged annually by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fountain Valley, is set for Dec. 3-5.
