The Orange County Water District and the Orange County Sanitation District are hosting a Winter Fest on Feb. 16 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Groundwater Replenishment System, the world’s largest water recycling project of its kind. Fountain Valley PONY Baseball will hold its opening night ceremonies at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 on Field 8 at the Fountain Valley Sports Park. FV PONY Baseball is open to players, ages 3 ½ to 14, and currently has about 500 players. Opening ceremonies will feature representatives from the city, the Fountain Valley Police Department and Fountain Valley Fire Department.
