The Fountain Valley Recreation and Community Services Department will once again host the annual Easter Egg Hunt, this year set for Saturday, March 31 at the Fountain Valley Sports Park. Woman’s Club planning murder mystery fundraiser
The Fountain Valley Woman’s Club will present “The Demise of Dusty Dan,” a whodunit murder mystery fundraiser on Saturday, March 24. The event includes a Mexican buffet dinner, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages and the play. Cost is $35 a ticket. There will be a no-host bar, auction items and opportunity drawings. Coyotes will be the topic of a meeting at 10 a.m. Feb. 24 at the Green Valley Family Clubhouse. Sanitation districts eye Guinness world record
The Orange County Water District and the Orange County Sanitation District are hosting a Winter Fest on Feb. 16 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Groundwater Replenishment System, the world’s largest water recycling project of its kind. FV PONY opening ceremonies are Feb. 23
Fountain Valley PONY Baseball will hold its opening night ceremonies at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 on Field 8 at the Fountain Valley Sports Park. FV PONY Baseball is open to players, ages 3 ½ to 14, and currently has about 500 players. Opening ceremonies will feature representatives from the city, the Fountain Valley Police Department and Fountain Valley Fire Department. The evening will include a T-Ball/Champions exhibition game, food and music.
