Our Story

Fountain Valley Living Magazine is published by longtime Fountain Valley residents Curt and Lynn Seeden, both former editors of The Fountain Valley View (among other OC Register publications), members of the Fountain Valley Kiwanis Club, FV Woman's Club, FV Historical Society, Chamber of Commerce, and passionate champions of the community.

Our co-owner and CEO is Alex Accetta of Alex A. Accetta & Associates, also a passionate and committed volunteer as a board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, chairman of the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Fountain Valley. (In fact, Alex was the 2018 recipient of the FV Rotary Club's Ed Arnold Volunteer of the Year Award for his many years of service to the community.)

We came together more than a decade ago to formulate a plan for a community publication that would highlight the tremendous contributions of our residents, city staff, police, firefighters and leaders.

The magazine is meant to help community members get to know their neighbors and learn about all of the amazing things they do. "The Nice Place," as we so affectionately call it, is home to a dazzling array of talent, volunteerism, heroism, creativity and just plain ol' good human beings.

Looking for something to do? From Historical Society ice cream socials to Chamber mixers, the Miss Fountain Valley Scholarship Program to the annual Taste of Fountain Valley, Old Car Enthusiast breakfasts to our biggest event of the year, Summerfest, there's always something going on. Check out our calendar.

We have been fortunate enough to meet some of the best people over the last 10 years that we have been publishing Fountain Valley Living Magazine, and we look forward to finding more of our "hidden gems."
